Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Money Saver app ("Money Saver", "the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We built Money Saver to be private by default — this page describes exactly what that means.
In short: Money Saver stores the financial data you enter in your own private, account-protected cloud space so it can sync across your devices. We do not sell your data and we do not track you across other apps or websites. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. You can delete your account and all of your data at any time from inside the app.
1. Information we collect
Account information
Money Saver requires you to sign in with Apple or Google. When you do, we receive a unique account identifier and, depending on the provider and your choices, your email address and display name. If you use Sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email, in which case we receive only an Apple private-relay address.
Financial data you enter
The core of the app is the information you choose to record, such as:
- Transactions (amounts, categories, dates, notes)
- Accounts and balances
- Debts and repayments
- Bills and budgets
- Any receipts or attachments you add
This data is created entirely by you. We do not connect to your bank and we do not import transactions automatically.
Preferences & settings
Your in-app settings — language, currency, region, notification preferences, and whether app lock is enabled — are stored so the app behaves consistently across your devices.
Subscription information
If you purchase Money Saver Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple and your subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. We receive whether your subscription is active and which plan you hold. We never receive or store your full payment card details — those are handled entirely by Apple.
Diagnostic data
To keep the app stable, we collect crash and error reports through Firebase Crashlytics. These reports are scrubbed of personal financial details — they contain technical information about what went wrong, not your transactions, names, or amounts.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above only to:
- Provide the app's core functionality and sync your data across your devices;
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- Process and restore your subscription;
- Send the local reminders you have enabled (bills, debts, budgets, daily check-ins);
- Show ads in the free version of the app;
- Diagnose crashes and improve reliability;
- Respond to your support requests.
We do not use your financial data to build advertising profiles.
3. Third-party services
Money Saver relies on a small number of trusted service providers that process data on our behalf or to provide their service:
- Google Firebase — authentication, cloud database (Firestore), file storage, and backend functions. Your data is stored in your account-scoped space within Firebase. See Firebase Privacy.
- RevenueCat — subscription management. See RevenueCat Privacy.
- Google AdMob — advertising in the free version. See the Advertising section below.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases. See Apple Privacy.
- Google Sign-In — used if you choose to sign in with Google. See Google Privacy.
4. Advertising
The free version of Money Saver displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its partners may use device and advertising identifiers and similar technologies. This may involve processing certain device information by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy & Terms.
You can limit ad personalization at the system level via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and by managing your device's advertising identifier. Subscribing to Money Saver Pro removes all ads.
5. Tracking & analytics
Money Saver does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and therefore does not request App Tracking Transparency permission for our own purposes. We do not currently run product analytics that profile your behaviour. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Storage, security & retention
Your data is stored in Google Firebase and is protected by access rules that restrict each account's data to that account only. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by the underlying infrastructure.
We retain your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see below), your data is removed.
7. Biometric lock
You can optionally protect the app with Face ID or Touch ID. This check is performed entirely by iOS — Money Saver never sees, receives, or stores your biometric data. We only learn whether the device-level check succeeded.
8. Your rights & choices
You are always in control of your data:
- Access: your data is visible to you within the app at any time.
- Export: where available, you can export your data from within the app.
- Deletion: you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete account. This removes your records from our database and storage and closes your sign-in account.
- Notifications: you can turn any reminder on or off in the app's notification settings, or disable notifications entirely in iOS Settings.
If you would like help exercising any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Children's privacy
Money Saver is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated within the app.
11. Governing law
This Privacy Policy and any matter relating to it are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Contact
